Thousand Hills Ministry seeks innovative and practical ways to financially strengthen the developing-world church. We do this by forming strategic partnerships to develop in-country business opportunities that drive job creation, thereby encouraging economic health and vitality. By expanding markets and stimulating production to move people from subsistence to surplus - from survival to success.
We believe Jesus Christ is the hope for the world. He demonstrated God’s love for people; healing the sick, feeding the poor, binding the broken-hearted, and ultimately offering Himself as a ransom for their salvation. We believe the Gospel is evident when spiritual, physical and social needs are met (James 1:27, 2:14-17). To that end, the role of Thousand Hills Ministry is to partner with developing-world churches and ministries to strengthen their on-going efforts in making the gospel come alive in their communities. Orphans adopted, the hungry fed, the homeless taken in, the jobless employed, the industrious given more opportunity. This is the role we believe God has called us to fulfill in building His kingdom.
Brian Stout - Director. Brian has spent the past 20 years in corporate America growing businesses and expanding market share for fortune 500 companies. He has spent the last 4 years in ministry with Open Door Haiti, growing ministry programs such as: schools, medical clinics and revenue generating projects. Today, Brian’s work is multiplying enterprises which which provide the blessing of employment, and strengthen local ministries to realize their full potential.
Barry Quiner - Board member. Barry has worked in the real estate investment management industry for 20 years and currently serves as the head of asset management for an institutional investment advisor. He has also participated in several short-term missions projects in Haiti and elsewhere. Barry brings business and relationship management experience to the board of Thousand Hills Ministry.
Tom Mayer - Board member. Tom is a retired businessman with over 40 years of experience in sales and sales management. As a member of Thousand Hills Ministry board Tom brings wisdom and interpersonal skills in the areas of leadership and management.
